Siberia was called the center of civilization in ancient times

Researchers from the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences at excavations in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

discovered artifacts that made it possible to call Siberia the center of civilization in ancient times.

The excavations took place in the Ust-Kova area. The age of some finds reaches 24 thousand years. They indicate that the ancient inhabitants of Siberia had a high level of technology development. Artifacts also help to find out with whom the first inhabitants of the region kept in contact.

Exploring the parking lot of layered ancient people inthe area of ​​the Ust-Kova settlement has been going on for over 50 years. Scientists managed to conduct a microscopic analysis of each object found. Among them were two figurines carved from mammoth ivory. These figurines helped researchers understand the technology of processing the bones of ancient people.
