Foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will not be presented at Galaxy Unpacked on August 5

This week, Samsung officially announced the date for the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event as August 5th. But it seems

On this day we will not see the new folding smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.

When?

Max Weinbach from XDA-Developerwrites that the release of the successor to the Galaxy Fold had to be postponed. Primarily due to the fact that “the software is not even close to being ready for launch in September.”

Max suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be delayed by a month or two and could debut in September or October.

This is absolutely no surprise.The software isn't even close to ready for a September launch and there is very few mentions of anything hardware wise. It’s likely been delayed a bunch and that’s why.

Let us remind you that on August 5 Samsung should presentthe flagship Galaxy Note 20 family and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Let us remind you that the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ tablets, Galaxy Watch 3 smart watches and Galaxy Buds Live headphones should be presented earlier - on July 22.
