What is known
The information was shared by insider @heyitsyogesh.According to him, this year Google will dramatically improve the characteristics and raise the price of the Pixel 7a. Thus, the smartphone will be very similar to the base model Pixel 7. Therefore, to avoid competition within the line, Google may refuse to release A-series devices in the future and concentrate its attention on flagship models and foldable devices.
Pixel a series seems to be coming to an end. With the spec and price bump on the Pixel 7a, it is certain that there won't be any 8a coming.

Pixel 7a will get 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The gadget will be powered by the flagship Tensor G2 processor paired with a Titan M2 security chip. In addition, the new product will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of ROM, a 64 MP dual camera and a battery with support for fast wired and wireless charging. If you believe the leaks, the smartphone will cost $500-550.
