Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will receive thickened UTG glass and support for the stylus S Pen

Samsung only released its new foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold 2 in August, but it has already appeared online

information about his successor.

What is known

According to Korean publication The Elec, Samsungplans to add support for the proprietary S Pen stylus to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. There were rumors that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 would receive it, but it seems that due to the design of the flexible screen, the company was unable to implement support. However, the next generation of the smartphone will come with a stylus, according to reports. To do this, Samsung will add AES (Active Electrostatic Solution) digitizer technology to the device, as well as thicker UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) glass. By the way, in addition to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, next year the Galaxy S21 (aka Galaxy S30) may also get the S Pen stylus. At least that's what rumors are circulating online.

Let us remind you that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is also credited with an under-screen front camera. Also, the smartphone will most likely be powered by the new top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor.

When to expect

It's definitely not worth waiting for a smartphone in the near future. It is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2021.
