At least that's what a GamesBeat journalist saysJeff Grubb, who is not the first time revealing the plans of the developers before the official announcement. In the podcast (via VGC), Grubb revealed that EA is planning to re-release the Mass Effect trilogy in October, but plans could change due to the coronavirus.

“From last week until today, I know for sure thatthe plan was to announce it (the Mass Effect remaster - ed.) in early October, and release at the end of October. So good news. There may be bad news. It's 2020 and it's possible the release date could slip further,” says Grubb.

The journalist also clarified that fans should waitnot a remake, but mostly improved versions. According to the source, they will ask about $60 for the remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy, but it is not yet known whether they will allow you to buy each part separately, as 2K did with Mafia.
