Media: Sony will launch a new PlayStation Store without support for PS3, PS Vita and PSP

Along with the new generation console, Sony will also release an updated PlayStation Store, which will leave the old ones behind

gaming systems of the company.

New PS Store

As Push Square writes, citing its ownsources, Sony will update the PlayStation Store for web and applications. The main change will be the library limitation, and in the new store gamers will only be able to buy games for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

PlayStation 3, PSP and PS Vita will not besupport the new digital store, but will not abandon support for Sony systems. Users will continue to be able to purchase games and apps for these systems through the built-in PS Store app.

The updated store will also remove the sectionwith applications, themes and avatars for PlayStation 4. Already downloaded and purchased content will remain with users. The publication also notes that existing wishlists will be cleared.
