In Russia, they predicted an increase in prices for goods in online stores. An expert shared information about this
According to Petropolskaya, prices inonline stores may increase due to the fact that from October 1, banks increased their commission for accepting transactions from cards. The expert recalled that previously the commission for online payments was 1% of the amount. Let us recall that this rule was introduced by the Central Bank in April in order to reduce business expenses, thereby leveling out losses due to quarantine restrictions.
Now this rule has been canceled, and banksbegan to return payments for services they provide to Internet commerce to the pre-crisis level. Thus, the cost of goods may increase by 1, or even 1.5%. However, the expert stressed that prices may not rise everywhere. In particular, stores that have implemented a fast payment system using a QR code can keep the same cost of goods.
