2. Protection against water
AirPods Proprotected from splashes of water and sweat, they can beuse during training in the gym or outdoors in the rain (but do not swim in them in the pool). The headphones are rated IPX4 according to IEC 60529 standard.
Galaxy Buds +have a lower degree of protection, IPX2: will withstand sweat, but it is better not to come into contact with water.
3. Noise reduction
INAirPods ProActive noise reduction technology is implemented:An external microphone records background noise and compensates for it by returning a sound wave of the same amplitude through the speaker. The internal microphone analyzes and further “cleanses” the sound.

Headphones work in three modes: with noise canceling turned on or off and in the “transparency” mode, when external sounds, on the contrary, are amplified compared to music. You can switch between modes in several ways.
Three pairs of interchangeable silicone ear pads included. A special test will help you choose the size of the earbuds for an optimal fit and better sound.
INGalaxy Buds +there is no active noise cancellation, while the modelis equipped with three microphones at once (AirPods have two microphones) that filter external noise. With two external and one internal microphone, the headphones block out ambient sounds for comfortable phone calls, even in noisy and crowded places.

The headphones also feature a background sound function, which, similar to the transparency mode in AirPods Pro, amplifies background sounds when they are needed.
Galaxy Buds+, like AirPods, includes three pairs of silicone tips for a complete fit of the headphones to your ears.

4. Sound
INGalaxy Buds +Samsung has significantly improved sound qualityCompared to the first Galaxy Buds: the model received two speakers - for powerful lows and clear highs. The sound system in the updated Galaxy Buds was implemented jointly with the Austrian audio manufacturer AKG. According to the manufacturer, the headphones provide “studio quality sound.”

In AirPods ProA wide amplitude driver is used to achieve powerful bass. And the adaptive equalizer automatically adjusts sound parameters taking into account the anatomical features of the ears.
Apple’s H1 chip provides minimal audio latency — one of the lowest wireless models on the market.

5. Battery life
Galaxy Buds +loses to the American model in noise insulation,but they benefit from autonomy. According to the manufacturer, one charge cycle is enough for 11 hours of listening to music. When paired with a charging case, playback time doubles to 22 hours.
There is a possibility of quick recharging: 3 minutes of recharging is enough for another hour of headphones operation. The case supports Qi wireless charging.
Maximum autonomyAirPods Profrom one charge cycle - 4.5 hours. And it increases to 5 hours if you turn off the active noise insulation mode. With charging from the case, the total listening time increases to 24 hours.
After 5 minutes of recharging, the headphones work for another hour. The case is also compatible with Qi wireless chargers.
6. Connection and management
One of the main advantages of AirPods Pro ismagically simple connection to devices and further switching between them. Thanks to the Apple ecosystem, headphones do not need to be paired with each device separately.
You can control your AirPods Pro headphones withpressure sensor on the leg. In the settings, you can set different actions for the left and right headphones. You can switch between noise reduction and permeability using touch or iPhone and Apple Watch. There is support for voice assistant: using Siri, you can call and control music.
Galaxy Buds +connects just as quickly to another devicewithout having to cancel the previous pairing. Control gestures are similar to the model from Cupertino: single, double, triple tap and hold (this action is specified by the user).
Unlike its predecessor (Galaxy Buds)Galaxy Buds+ can connect to an iOS deviceand two devices at the same time.
Galaxy Buds + support voice assistantBixby, who does not know Russian yet. If you reassign Bixby to Google Assistent, then voice control will be available (though not all smartphones can do this).
7. Price
February 15, Samsung announced the start of salesGalaxy Buds +, including in Russia. Depending on the region, some stores already have the option of ordering. The cost of the updated Galaxy Buds + - 10 990 rubles.
The price of AirPods Pro in Russia is 20,990 rubles. And it is 10 thousand more expensive than the competitive South Korean model.
At the same time, demand is still high in Russia and the world.on AirPods of the 2nd generation, the price of which (for a model with a charging case) is comparable to Galaxy Buds +: 13,490 rubles on the official website and below, taking into account the discount, from official representatives.
Despite the fact that the headphones presented by Samsung are gags, in price and features they are more likely to be direct competitors to AirPods 2 than AirPods Pro.
What is the result
Both models of headphones - vacuum with three removable nozzles and a charging case included.
Galaxy Buds + standard compact gags, AirPods Pros are still shaped like earbuds.
Active noise isolation in AirPods Pro, Galaxy Buds + - there is no noise reduction per se, but there is a background sound function and three microphones blocking noise similar to the AirPods pro version.
The autonomy of Galaxy Buds + is twice as high: 11 versus 4.5 hours from a single charge.
The sound quality of both headphones is difficult to evaluate objectively. Someone likes one thing, someone else, and someone arranged a sound in wired models.
The price is 21 thousand rubles for Apple headphones versus 11 thousand for the Samsung model.
