US accuses Chinese hackers of stealing data from COVID-19 vaccine developers

The hackers were charged with conspiracy tocommission of cyber fraud and theft of trade secrets. According to the prosecutor's office, cyber intruders could act both in their own interests and on behalf of the special services and the PRC authorities.

According to prosecutors, hackers within tenyears, in addition to the United States, other countries were attacked: Australia, Belgium, Germany, Japan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Spain, South Korea, Sweden and the UK.
