Ukraine received MIM-104F Patriot systems and PAC-3 CRI interceptors - they destroyed 100% of Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and at least one Iskander ballistic missile

Ukraine received MIM-104 Patriot air defense systems a few weeks ago. It has now become known

exactly which anti-aircraft missile systems and interceptors were transferred by partners.

What is known

Ukrainian Air Force received MIM-104F systemsPatriot. We previously knew that the complex uses the Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) missile interceptor. Judging by the photo of one of the anti-missile fragments, Ukraine received the PAC-3 Cost Reduction Initiative (CRI).

CRI is not the newest (previous) versionmissile interceptor. The most advanced version of the PAC-3 is the Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE), which may soon enter service with the German army.

Even though Ukraine usesa relatively old missile interceptor, the CRI has already demonstrated effectiveness. The Air Force, thanks to the MIM-104F Patriot, destroyed 7 out of 7 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and at least one Iskander ballistic missile.
