France handed over AMX-10RC wheeled tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in March, and is now preparing a new batch for shipment.
What is known
This is stated in the Joint Declaration onresults of the visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky to Paris on May 14. Deliveries of weapons should begin soon. Unfortunately, it is not yet known how many AMX-10RC tanks will be in the new batch. The first batch consisted of about 40 units of equipment. By the way, as of 2016, France had 248 AMX-10RC tanks in service.

AMX-10 RC is a French armored combat vehiclea machine manufactured by GIAT. The AMX-10 RC is armed with a 105 mm tank gun, which is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 2 km. The tank also has a 6x6 wheel arrangement and boasts a hydropneumatic suspension system with variable ground clearance and tilt. Thanks to this, the combat vehicle is capable of hiding in difficult terrain. The AMX-10 RC has been in French service since 1981. The tank took part in operations in the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and the Sahel.
