Scientists have identified other types of people besides "owls" and "larks"

People are usually divided into “night owls” and “larks” - those who are active in the evening, and those who, on the contrary, are active in the morning. Scientists

conducted a large-scale study and found out that humans have many more chronotypes.

Based on the results of the study, the classification of daily allowancehuman activities were expanded to six types. Indicator briefly writes about this. Scientists believe that body functions are subject to circadian rhythms. Because of this, people may feel more alert at different times of the day. Moreover, a clear division into “night owls” and “larks” does not work here - about 60% of people cannot clearly classify themselves as one type or another.

The authors of the new study added the followingchronotypes: highly active type (remain active all day), sleepy during the day (active in the morning and evening, but not during the day), daytime (active only during the day) and moderately active type (reduced activity almost evenly throughout the day).
