Photographer Captures Spectacular F-35C Lightning II Fifth-Generation Fighter Flying at Low Altitude at Transonic Speed

Aviation photographer @point_mugu_skies took effective photos of an F-35C fighter jet during a test

Flight. He posted the photos on his Instagram page.

What is known

The pictures were taken over a canyon in California,where the Sidewinder route passes. This is a pretty good place for photographers. A few days ago we wrote about the appearance of spectacular footage from the F-117 Nighthawk. Photographer @stinkjet took them. Now the F-35C has hit the camera lens of another professional.

The fifth generation fighter belongs toUS Navy. To be more precise, the aircraft is stored in the 9th Aviation Test and Evaluation Squadron (Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Nine) Vampire. It is based in China Lake, California.

The route that the plane flew twicecalled Sidewinder. The US Navy and Air Force use it for training. The F-35C flew at low altitude at near-sonic speeds for spectacular photographs.
