The hacker demonstrated the jailbreak “Flying JB” for iOS 9.2.1

Chinese hacker Min Zheng aka @SparkZheng published a video on YouTube in which he demonstrates a successful

iOS 9.2 jailbreak process.1 called Flying JB. The video shows the “Flying JB” app that successfully jailbreaks an iPhone 5c running iOS 9.2.1. The hacker also installs an unsigned Mobile Terminal application that allows you to execute any command as the root user.

Zheng is also credited with Cererdlong and Eakerqiu forjail break. Zheng revealed in his blog that Flying JB is based on inpuTbag. Apple patched this vulnerability in iOS 9.3.2, so the jailbreak will not work on iOS 9.3.2. Zheng confirmed that the vulnerability was “very powerful” to be exploited in firmware prior to iOS 9.3.2. However, jailbreaking iOS 9.3.2 is much more difficult than jailbreaking iOS 9.3 and iOS 9.3.1 due to “rights” added by Apple.

But there is also bad news. The jailbreak only works on 32-bit devices, which means it will only work on iPhone 5 or lower that runs iOS 9.2.1. Also jailbreak this jailbreak is under development and is not public so it is not a full jailbreak.

Unlike jailbreaking Pangu or Taig, FluingJB is not a full-fledged GUI tool, so jailbreaking your device will not be easy. If you are not intimidated by the command line and are comfortable with code, you can check out the source code on Github and follow the instructions to jailbreak your device. Although we recommend waiting for the final version.
