X-47M2 "Dagger" is equipped with a unique warhead with a capacity of 240 TNT - Ukrainian experts studied the Russian hypersonic missile

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, using the MIM-104F Patriot air defense system, shot down seven Russian aircraft

hypersonic/aeroballistic missiles Kh-47M2 "Dagger". The first was intercepted in early May, and Ukrainian specialists are already studying it.

What is known

Experts from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Examinations were able to establish all the details of a hypersonic missile. Each of them contains the marking "7760".

The carrier of the Kh-47M2 is the MiG-31K fighter.Now experts want to determine which MiG-31K aircraft launched it, where the launch was made from, and where the PAC-3 anti-missile RCI intercepted.

The experts also found that the X-47M2 "Dagger"equipped with a warhead with a capacity of 240 kg in TNT equivalent. HMX weighing 150 kg is used as an explosive. Such explosives are used only in the X-47M2 and in the 9M723 ballistic missile of the Iskander complex.
