100 million people in Russia use the Internet

Deputy Head of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of Russia Alexey Volin told how many

of all Russians use the Internet. It turned out that almost a third of the country's residents are not Internet users.

According to Volin, out of 145 million people in Russia, about 100 million people use the Internet. He announced this at the “Territory of Meanings” forum, writes RIA Novosti.

Volin said that some of those who do not "sit" on the Internet are children and the elderly. Also, residents of settlements to which "the Internet simply did not come" do not have access to the network.

Recently, the analytical agency TMT Consulting found out that 33.9 million people used home wired Internet in the second quarter of 2020 in Russia.
