Russia spent 597 million rubles on creating an autonomous runet system

Thus, according to published data, the departmentspent about 597 million rubles last year on the implementation of the Public Communications Network Monitoring and Management Center system. During the inspection, it was found that Roskomnadzor failed to put this system into operation within the specified time frame. “Roskomnadzor did not ensure the commissioning of an information system for monitoring and managing the public communications network on time,” – noted in the department's conclusion on the results of the inspection.
Moreover, according to the representatives of the joint venture,the performance indicator is zero, which, in turn, is contrary to official government rules. At the same time, the Roskomnadzor report as of January 1, 2020 indicates that out of 28 checkpoints for the implementation of the center, about six have not been fulfilled, while the terms of commissioning have been postponed to the current year.
