Emulators work again on Xbox: enthusiasts have found a new way

Previously, Xbox owners could download programs directly from the Microsoft Store, allowing them

install emulators and play games from othersplatforms. However, earlier this year Microsoft disabled this feature and now users can only run programs in the developer's store, but a group called UWeaPons Store has discovered a new way to run these programs on retail devices.

What is known

Although she does not reveal the exact method due toFor fear of Microsoft shutting down this feature, users who wish to have access to this new method can subscribe to Patreon groups. The group is offering access to the new method for a monthly fee of £2/$2.

It is not yet clear how Microsoft will react to this new information, however, according to the latest video from MVG, the method is already working at the time of publication.

Thanks to the Microsoft Edge update at the end of 2021year, users were able to access browser-based emulators for the Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Super NES, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, MS DOS, Amiga, and other platforms.
