16-inch Apple MacBook Pro will receive a new Touch Bar and AMD Radeon RX 5300M and RX 5500M cards

We've already heard that Apple is due to release a new MacBook Pro with a 16-inch display this year. When is that

What will happen is unknown, but more and more information about the new model is appearing on the Internet.

According to sources, the MacBook Pro will receive discrete AMD Radeon RX 5300M and Radeon RX 5500M graphics cards. By the way, they are also mentioned in the macOS Catalina 10.15.1 operating system.

The Radeon RX 5500M features 1,408 stream processors, a 128-bit data bus, and 4GB of 14GHz GDDR6 VRAM. But the RX 5300M video card has not yet been officially presented.

Touch bar

MacRumors also received a new render of the MacBook Pro. The bezels around the screen have become noticeably smaller, so the 16-inch model will be the same in size as the 15-inch model.

In addition, the Touch Bar has changed: it has been “shrinked”, and an Escape key and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner have been added to the sides.
