1. What do the lights mean?
On the AirPods case there is a small indicator light. When you open the case, you will see a light between the headphones. By the color of the light, you can understand the condition of the headphones.
No light: Your AirPods are low and need charging.
Yellow light when Airplans in a case: AirPods are charging.
Yellow light when Airplans not in the case: AirPods case can provide less than one full charge.
Green light when Airplans in a case: AirPods case can provide more than one full charge.
White flashing light: AirPods have been reset and ready to connect.
Yellow flashing light: AirPods need to be reset due to an error.
2. Customize gestures
The main problem of AirPods is the lack of buttonsvolume, pause / play and switch tracks. Double-tapping the headphones activates Siri by default. Apple wants you to use Siri for the entire control, but this does not always work. Fortunately, gestures can be customized.
When you connect the AirPods to your smartphone, go to Settings -> Bluetooth and click the icon "i next to your AirPods. Here you will see the options left and right. Choose one of these, and you have five options: Siri, Start / Pause, Next Track, Previous Track, and Off.
If you don't use Siri at all,You can select Start / Pause for one headset and the next track for another. These are the two most common actions that are very convenient to use.
3. Disconnect Autodiscover ear
AirPods automatically turn off by defaultmusic when you take out one earpiece. When you insert it back, the music starts playing. If your AirPods themselves turn off and turn on the music, you need to turn off Ear Detection in the AirPods settings in the Bluetooth section.

To connect AirPods to a new device,open their case and hold the button at the back - the connection mode is activated. Make sure the other device is also discoverable. When AirPods appear in the list of available devices, select them.
AirPods work with any device, but their smart features, like Autodetecting the ear, will not work.
6. Use the function Live listen

7. Find lost Airplans
If you lost your AirPods, you can find them using the Find iPhone application. If you have this feature enabled, it is automatically activated for AirPods.
To find lost AirPods, openFind the iPhone app and select your AirPods. You will see their location on the map. Next to them will be a blue, green or gray dot. Blue shows the device you are using to search. Green means that the AirPods are connected, and gray means that they are offline. In the third case, the headphones may be discharged, be in a case or just too far.
The best option is the green dot. You can tap it to turn on the AirPods beep for easy searching. If you see a gray point, all is not lost. The application displays the latest location in which the AirPods were active, and you can search for headphones there.
8. Connect AirPods manually
AirPods automatically connect to your device when you open the case, but sometimes it does not work. Fortunately, the headphones can be connected manually ..
To do this, open Command centre and hold music widget. Now click the icon Airplay in the upper right corner and select your AirPods.
9. Check your charge via iPhone
To check your AirPods charging, you can simplyopen their case. But what if you need to know the percentage of charging when headphones are used? On your iPhone, go to the widget screen and add the widget Batteries. With this widget you can easily check the charging of your AirPods and case.
10. Check charging through Apple Watch
If your AirPods are connected to the same iPhone,like Apple Watch, you can check the charging of headphones and through a smart watch. Swipe up to open the Management Point, and tap the battery icon.
11. Use AirPods with Apple Watch
AirPods can be used with the Apple Watch,and they work very well. You can use Apple Watch headphones with cellular connectivity even for calls. If you take the Apple Watch and AirPods for a run, they need to be connected via the Watch Office. Click the AirPlay icon and select your AirPods.
12. Use AirPods with Mac

13. Use Airplans with Apple TV
AirPods do not automatically connect to Apple TV, so this must be done manually. Go to Settings -> Remote controls and devices -> Bluetooth and hold down the AirPods button to start the connection.
When AirPods connect, you can quickly switch to them through the AirPlay screen.
14. Use Announcement calls
