During a call with investors, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that his company

plans to increase the number of employees who work on creating games in the Assassin's Creed franchise.

The head of the French publishing house noted that 2,000 people are currently working on Assassin's Creed games, which is 10% of the workforce.

Yves Guillemot said:

As part of our gradual reallocation of resources, we plan to increase the number of developers working on the Assassin's Creed brand by 40% in the coming years.

Considering that it is in development, according to informationUbisoft has six Assassin's Creed games (although insiders claim that there are ten games), the figure of 2,800 employees does not look overly high, especially if Ubisoft also improves the quality of the games.
