$215,000,000 contract: US orders Aerojet Rocketdyne to upgrade and manufacture Javelin, Stinger and GMLRS guided missiles

appeared on the official Pentagon website.The contract is for $215,000,000. It includes modernization as well as increased production of the FGM-148 Javelin ATGM, FIM-92 Stinger MANPADS and guided missiles for multiple launch rocket systems.

Money for the contract is allocated on the basis of the Lawon additional appropriations for Ukraine (Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act). That is, in this way the United States will replenish its reserves of weapons and ammunition, because some of them were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fight the Russian invaders.
