The regions with the lowest level of air purification are named:
- Ingushetia (filters 0% of emissions)
- Nenets and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs (0%)
- Kalmykia (1%)
- Kabardino-Balkaria (3%)
- Chechnya (6%)
- Sevastopol (9%)
- Oryol region (13%),
- Yaroslavl region (14%),
- Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug with a filtration rate (15%)
Most businesses that don't filteremissions, generate them in a small amount, so the situation "does not cause great concern." However, it can be critical in the oil and gas Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs: they are in fifth place in the list of Russian regions in terms of the total mass of harmful emissions.
Filters 80% and more harmful emissionsindustry in only 20 regions of Russia. In 38 regions, enterprises capture less than half of the emissions. In 21 regions, the filtration rate does not exceed 33%. In 10 regions, purification systems trap up to 15% of pollution, and in three regions the level of air filtration tends to zero.
As noted in the document, the highest degree of purification of emissions is observed at industries in St. Petersburg, Penza region, Karachay-Cherkessia, Primorsky Territory and Omsk Region.
