119 managers took part in the studyfrom different business sectors. Respondents include Walmart CEO Doug McMillon, Coca-Cola CEO James Quincy, and CEOs of Xerox, Zoom, and other pharmaceutical, media, and manufacturing companies.
34% of them said that AI could potentiallydestroy humanity in ten years. 8% admitted this possibility in five years. 58% of respondents are confident that this will never happen and they are "not worried".
Also, 42% of executives surveyed believe that the potential disaster of AI is exaggerated, while 58% say the opposite.
