To space for $450,000 – Virgin Galactic opens ticket sales for suborbital flights

The American company Virgin Galactic has begun selling tickets for suborbital flights. The press service notes that

emotions fully compensate for the almost half a million cost of the program.

To become a space tourist, you need to bea very wealthy person. The ticket price was $450,000 and included membership in the Future Astronaut community and hotel accommodation near the spaceport in New Mexico. To reserve a seat, you need to pay $150,000 immediately. The remaining $300,000 can be transferred to your Virgin Galactic account immediately before departure.

American aerospace company intends tosell 1000 tickets. The first flights are scheduled for the end of this year. The duration of the entire program will be only an hour and a half, taking into account the transfer to the plane by ferry. During the flight, space tourists will be in a state of weightlessness for several minutes.
