PUBG will feature 8v8 team deathmatch with new maps for PS4, Xbox One and PC

Rumors about adding “team battles” to the “adult” PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have been circulating since the end of 2019.

Now the developers have officially announced the introduction of a new mode.

What is known

Just yesterday, a professional PUBG player noticed, that “team battles” have appeared in the game. It turned out that the developers added them by accident, so they rushed to remove the activity. Still, the Internet remembered the mistake, and PUBG Corp. decided to officially confirm the plans.

"Team Deathmatch" will come to the game with patch 6.2 and will appear in Arcade rotation. Battles will take place between teams of eight people from a first-person perspective. Players will enter battle with a selection of weapons from the kit. After death, the fighter is reborn within five minutes near the closest allies who did not have time to enter the battle.
