8 Xiaomi smartphones received a fresh MIUI 12.5

Xiaomi has released a fresh version of the MIUI 12.5 firmware for eight smartphones announced in 2019-2021.

The shell is built on the Android 11 operating system.

Which phones have been updated

The update has become available for more than eightmodels, but we will not take into account some of them, since regions like Taiwan or Indonesia are of little interest to us. The Chinese firmware is also not particularly relevant, but we still note two models:

  • Redmi K40 Gaming Edition - v12.5.8.0 RKJCNXM;
  • Redmi K30S - v12.5.2.0 RJDCNXM;

The update for the gaming smartphone "tied"triggers and flash. The LED on the back will now light up when you press the side buttons. Redmi K30S received the July security patch. Global versions of smartphones will be updated soon.

Redmi Note 8 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite gotthe July Android patch along with the European versions of MIUI 12.5 - v12.5.2.0 RGGEUXM and v12.5.2.0 RJSEUXM, respectively. The latest model and global firmware also received - v12.5.2.0 RJSMIXM.

For Redmi Note 9T, the July patch came with v12.5.4.0 RJEMIXM, and Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite received a patch for the first month of summer along with the v12.5.2.0 RFCMIXM update.

Finally, two more smartphones of the company becameA global version of the shell is available with the August 2021 patch. So, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G has been updated to v12.5.2.0 RKIMIXM, and POCO X3 Pro to v12.5.3.0 RJUMIXM.
