Ukraine signed a contract with the Australian company Electro Optic Systems for the purchase of remote control systems

The information was shared by the manufacturer.According to the company's press release, the contract is for $80,000,000. For this amount, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive about 100 RWS systems, as well as spare parts for them and all related services. Deliveries are planned for 2023-2024.

RWS is currently used by the Australian Armed Forces,as well as some countries in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia. The system is designed to provide greater accuracy and reliability. It can be integrated into different vehicles and platforms. When using RWS, the crew is always safe, because fire control occurs remotely.
By the way, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already familiar with the remote weapons system of the Electro Optic Systems company. It is installed in Australian Bushmaster armored vehicles.
