The US Government Accountability Office has revealed information on how much it costs for 1 hour of military flight

airplanes and helicopters that are in service with the Air Force, Navy, US Army and Marine Corps.

The most expensive US fighter is the F-22 Raptor.One hour of flight costs approximately $85,000, making it more than double the cost of another fifth-generation fighter, the F-35 Lightning II (about $42,000).

As expected, the top three includes bombers.But not the B-52H Stratofortress ($88,000+). In third place is the nuclear bomber B-2 Spirit with a cost of almost $151,000 for 60 minutes of flight. One hour of B-1B Lancer flight costs more than $22,000.
