A clay figurine with a tattoo on the face was found in Siberia: it is five thousand years old

The burial is tiered. On the upper shoulder [of the buried] lies a clay sculpture of a man. Moreover, it is not important

only the sculpture itself, although there are no other analogues, is unique. We can talk about her epoch-making flavor, because there is a tattoo on her face and her arms are artificially lengthened.

Vyacheslav Molodin, employee of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography SB RAS

He noted that the figurine's head was detached andturned in the other direction, and a mask cut from a horse vertebra was put on her face. Analogs of such figurines can be found among the Khanty and Mansi, but the age of this find exceeds 5 thousand years. In its body there was a groove into which, according to scientists, a bronze plate found earlier was inserted.

Any museum in the world, from the Hermitage to the Louvre, would be proud of such a find, Molodin noted.

Similar figures can be found among modern Khanty or Mansi. The scientist also noted that representatives of the Odin culture were Mongoloids, while the figurine itself has the features of Caucasians.
