Action plan for implementation in 2020-2022The Concept of State Migration Policy provides for work on the creation of an information structure, including a single information platform containing data about a foreign citizen with the ability to store a digital profile.

An individual digital profile will contain information:
- on the legal status of a foreign citizen arriving in Russia,
- his biometric data,
- information about the place of residence and work.
The platform is being developed by the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The timing of the implementation and launch of the system is not specified.
Earlier it became known that migrants will be entered into electronic registers to work in Russia.
