For device development, a team of scientiststurned to a special material similar to wax, capable of changing its own properties. The melting point of the material is 30 ° C, which is comparable with the temperature of the surface of the human body. As a result, if the temperature outside the device is above 30 ° C, then the material will begin to melt and thereby stabilize the temperature balance. If it is colder around, then the material will begin to solidify slowly, still acting as an insulating layer.

According to scientists, at the moment the mainthe question they do is scale up. They intend to develop a special jacket with built-in technology, but so far they have a number of limitations. With the modern capabilities available to specialists, the jacket will be 2 kg, have a thickness of about 5 mm and only work for one hour.
