Reddit user GreedyPaint was able to record a 90-minute movie on a single 1.44MB floppy disk.Fit
To do this, the user needed to compress the film very hard, and for the project, he used a single-board computerand the x265 codec.The output is a 120 x 96 pixel movie.In addition, its playback was limited to just four frames per second.
The most interesting thing about the project, perhaps, is that GreedyPaint created a special player for a floppy disk. This can be seen in the video below:
