A few hours before the announcement of the Galaxy Note 10: Samsung introduced its first 7-nanometer chip Exynos 9825

Samsung has announced a new flagship processor called Exynos for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ smartphones.

The chipset was named Exynos 9825.It became an improved version of the Exynos 9820, which is installed in the Galaxy S10. The processor is built on a 7-nanometer EUV process (8 nm in Exynos 9820). Thanks to this, engineers were able to reduce its power consumption and slightly increase performance.

All other specifications of the new chip are nothave changed. It received two custom Mongoose cores, two Cortex-A75 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. The Mali-G76 MP12 video accelerator is responsible for the graphics of the SoC. The processor also has an NPU chip for processing AI functions, support for Cat-20 LTE-A Pro (download speed up to 2 Gbps), LPDDR4X, UFS 3.0 and video recording up to 8K.
