A frightening humanoid robot has learned to show disgust

In a new video, Ameca uses 12 new drives while looking in the mirror. Her artificial face expresses disbelief,

disgust, pain and perhaps even regret. In addition, the robot now moves its head and gestures with its hand, and in a very realistic way.

In a presentation of Ameca's capabilities, Engineered Arts made fun of Tesla's failed attempt to build a humanoid robot. To notice this, pay attention to the background at the beginning of the video.

On its website, the engineering firm claims that Ameca is "the world's most advanced human-shaped robot," which represents the "vanguard of human-robotics technology."

But how capable is the robot on its own?display human emotions is unknown. Engineered Arts does not explain whether Ameca has advanced enough software for the robot to respond to and interact with humans on its own. At the moment, the robot can only show the human emotions it has been programmed for.

Previously, Hi-Tech told how a humanoid robot scared social media users.
