A piece of space debris flew dangerously close to Crew Dragon 2

Engineers from SpaceX said that a piece of space debris flew near their Crew 2 ship. Scientists are not

tracked this object and stated that it suddenly appeared at a “dangerous distance” from the device.

Space debris appeared at the moment whenthe four astronauts were getting ready for bed. They were ordered to return to their spacesuits and buckle up in case of impact. However, a few minutes later, SpaceX engineers noted that the threat of collision had passed.

As space debris approachesthe staff told the astronauts that the debris appeared to be flying past Crew Dragon 2. Its trajectory assumed it would fly at a greater distance than originally anticipated. After some time, it turned out that the debris flew past the device without incident.

After this incident, SpaceX deliveredfour astronauts to the orbital station. Shane Kimbrough and Megan MacArthur of NASA, ESA astronaut Thomas Peske and Japan's Akihiko Hoshide will be on the ISS for a time with the crew of Crew Dragon 1.
