A series of Redmi 8 smartphones is announced on October 1 (but this is not accurate)

The Indian edition of 91mobiles has published a leaked poster with the estimated date of the announcement of the Redmi 8 smartphone series.

What is known

The image says that the devices will showOctober 1 at a presentation in China. Unfortunately, you should not completely trust this information. The invitation is very similar to that for the Redmi Note 7 smartphone, which was shown back in January of this year. Whether it is true or not will be known after the production officially announces the date of presentation.

Recall that the line will include two smartphones: Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A. The regular model will receive a 6.21-inch display with a resolution of 1520 × 720 pixels and a drop-shaped cutout for an 8-megapixel front camera. The main camera in the device will be dual with 12MP + 8MP sensors. The novelty will also be equipped with a processor with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz, a 5000 mAh battery, 2/3/4 GB of RAM and 16/32/64 GB of ROM.

Redmi 8A, in turn, will differ in appearance. It will also get a simpler processor and one main camera.
