A startup began creating holograms of dead people to communicate with them

Los Angeles-based startup StoryFile has offered an unusual funeral service: it createsdigital hologram

before his death, and then shows it to the relatives of the deceased.Discuss

StoryFile gets a digital clone of a person, using 20 synchronized cameras. Experts then process the footage and use it to train an artificial intelligence (AI) model that can answer questions in natural language.

The finished product is then uploaded to the StoryFile platform, which can be interacted with after the person dies. Family and friends can talk to the deceased.

StoryFile is asking £39.99 for the service.
