Now little is known about Air Wolf: until 2020, its development was carried out within the framework of “Project F”, financed by a secret military client.
Flightglobal suggests that AirWolf is similar to the MQM-178 target drone. This is the smallest aerial target with a length of 3.3 m and a width of 1.9 m. It is launched from a pneumatic launcher, the maximum speed is 772 km/h. Air Wolf was first tested in Oklahoma: the flight was successful, but no details were disclosed.
Previously, the company Kratos developed a drone for zones with restricted and prohibited access and maneuver: it can fly at transonic speed.
