A transparent voting machine cannot be broken. See how she works

A transparent voting machine has been in development for nearly two decades. It consists of transparent

boxes that also serve as touch screensinterface for voters. Inside is a printer connected to the Prime III device software. It prints the voter's choice on paper, which is immediately fed into a scanner to count the votes. The transparent housing ensures that if a USB device is tampered with, the voter will notice.

Software of any of the componentscannot be corrupted by an unknown piece of code. That's because it's stored on a Blu-ray disc in read-only format, and the voting machine itself restarts every time a vote is cast.

The giant transparent touch screen also allows you to spot possible tampering.

Electronic voting systems dividedUS residents. Some call them "reliable", which help people with disabilities and reduce the number of invalid ballots. But critics called for a boycott of their use, since the machines can be hacked and change the voting results in favor of any candidate or party.

The Undark report states that companies thatbuilding voting machines, not helping the cause. The problem is that they prefer to keep the secret of how the technology works. They also refuse to share data with researchers or the press. Under these conditions, the development is "commendable". The new system works using open source software.
