However, there is a method to find out the exact locationusers. This can be especially frustrating for those who log into Telegram from their home address. According to Hasan, it is enough to use the triangulation method. Another researcher Andrei Kopelyan has already tested the vulnerability in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan). He was able to calculate the address of a person by plotting three circles on the map.
Only those users who are allowed to make them visible in the People Nearby service can be tracked in this way. To avoid possible surveillance, you must revoke this permission.
