A website has been created where you can "take" photos from space

Canon has unveiled an interactive website where you can explore the CE-SAT-1 satellite equipped with a 5D Mark III DSLR camera and

“take” photographs from space. New York, Bahamas or Dubai - take your pick.

Engadget clarifies that this is an imitationphotography, that is, the pictures were taken in advance. However, the user can imagine himself as a camera operator and “click” various locations. Each photo, by the way, will indicate the location and other data. The demonstration gives an idea of the capabilities of the satellite and the resolution of its camera.

Canon launched the wine barrel-sized machine in June 2017. The satellite is in an orbit with an altitude of 600 kilometers and provides images of the Earth's surface with a resolution of 91 cm.
