ABL failed to carry out the first launch of the RS1 rocket in its history

ABL last week made two attempts to make the first-ever orbital launch of the RS1 rocket.

Both were unsuccessful, but the company does not despair.

What is known

The first attempt was scheduled for November 14, butfirst due to technical problems, and then because of the weather, the launch was delayed for several days. November 18 at 00:55 (EET), the second attempt also failed. The company interrupted the countdown and proceeded to drain the fuel.

ABL stated that the RS1 is fine. The third attempt to launch the rocket will take place in a few hours. A three-hour launch window will open on November 22 at 00:00 (EET).

Despite the fact that ABL has not yet launched,the company wants to launch two satellites into orbit with a 27-meter rocket on the first attempt: Viasat-1A and Viasat-1B. The launch cost is $12 million. The rocket can launch a payload weighing 1.35 tons into low earth orbit.
