Acer introduced a $999 exercise bike that can charge gadgets while pedaling

Taiwanese manufacturer Acer at CES 2023, in addition to monitors and laptops, presented a rather unusual

device. It's called eKinekt BD 3 and is an exercise bike equipped with a table.

What is known

The novelty is equipped with ports for rechargingdevices. Electricity is generated while pedaling. 60 rpm is enough to get 75 watts of power. You can charge your iPhone 13 Pro Max in less than an hour and a half.

The eKinekt BD 3 table is equipped with two connectorsUSB-A and one USB-C, allowing you to charge multiple devices at the same time. You can put a laptop on the table in Working mode and type text. In Sport mode, the table moves back, and the user can engage in a more intense workout.

The body of the eKinekt BD 3 is made from recycled plastic. The same goes for the table. The exercise bike will go on sale in April 2023. The cost of new items was $999.
