Taiwanese manufacturer Acer announced a new generation at the annual CES exhibition in Las Vegas
What is known
The 16” screen model supports 165Hz refresh rate, has 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, and an RGB backlit keyboard. Screen resolution - WUXGA or WQXGA.
The 17” laptop offers buyers either QHD panels with a frame rate of 165Hz exclusively or FHD panels with a frame rate of 144Hz/165Hz. An RGB backlit keyboard is also present.
Acer Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 carry on boardIntel Core processors of the Raptor Lake generation and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards based on the Ada Lovelace architecture. The maximum amount of RAM is 32 GB, and the capacity of the SSD is 2 TB. In addition, gaming laptops received Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, a microSD slot and dual fans.
Price and when to wait
Both models will cost $1,200 in the US.basic configuration, and sales will begin in May. In Europe, you can buy Acer Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 at a price of €1,499 ($1,590) and €1,599 ($1,700), respectively.
