Acer has updated its Predator Helios line of gaming laptops. New items are available in two sizes with display
What is known
Both models are equipped with displays with a resolution2560 x 1600 pixels and 165Hz or 240Hz refresh rate. The type of matrix is not specified, but it is probably an IPS panel. Separately, we note the presence of a top version with a Mini LED display, which has a refresh rate of 250 Hz.
Predator Helios laptops are equipped with Intel Raptor Lake processors with the HX index. The graphics subsystem is represented by a discrete GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card, regardless of modification.

The amount of RAM is up to 32 GB(DDR5-4800) and 2TB storage (SSD PCIe 4.0). The laptops also have an RGB backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6E controller, Thunderbolt 4 (x2), HDMI 2.1 (x1) and USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 (x3) connectors along with a microSD slot.

Gaming laptops will be on sale this year.The Acer Predator Helios 16” starts at $1650 (from $2800 for the Mini LED version). You can buy the Predator Helios 18” for at least $1,700 ($3,000 for the Mini LED version).
