Activision deceived: donations and dinosaurs will be added to Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Activision and Beenox have announced a new season of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, with which more maps and heroes will appear in the game

and microtransactions.

What is known

The update is nicknamed Back N.Time, and judging by the title and trailer, racers will be sent back in time to a time when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth. Players can enjoy the Prehistoric Playground track, a battle pass with 18 rewards, new challenges, three new characters, skins, cars, and new customization elements in the Pit Stop store.

The latter are purchased with vampa coins, the local currency that players receive for winning races. If you are too lazy to earn money through gaming, then Activision
will offer to throw a couple into Crash Team Racingdollars and buy a set of vamp coins. According to the developers, the introduction of microtransactions will not affect the game economy. Note that initially, gamers were promised not to introduce in-game payments.

Grand Prix Back N.Time will begin on August 2 and will run until August 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Beenox also confirmed that they are working on the next expansion, which will add the characters N. Brio, Nina Cortex and Komodo Moe to the game.
