How it works?
A new option will appear in the proprietary MIUI shell13, that is, it will be available after the update. Presumably, it will work the same way as competitors: several GB of built-in memory will be used as RAM. Only in this case, apparently, you will be able to add a maximum of 3 GB, which is also quite a lot.
According to a screenshot from the Xiaomi phone's settings page, there will simply be a toggle to turn the feature on or off.

True, some sources say that virtual RAM will only be available for devices based on the top Snapdragon 865, 870 and 888 chipsets, which already have no problems with memory capacity.
