Adidas unveils RPT-02 SOL: wireless headphones that can be charged with solar energy and artificial light

Adidas, in partnership with Zound Industries, has announced new wireless headphones.

called the Adidas RPT-02 SOL.The headphones boast the ability to charge from the sun and artificial light. To achieve this, Powerfoyle light cells were built into the headband of the headphones. They were developed by the Swedish company Exeger, which specializes in solar technologies. The Adidas RPT-02 SOL also gets a dedicated indicator to help you find the best lighting for charging.

As for other specifications, the headphonesreceived IPX4 protection against water droplets and sweat, a control panel and a USB-C port. Claimed battery life is up to 80 hours. By the way, according to Adidas, the headphones are made from recycled plastic and nylon.
