The latter type, for example, may includea fresh innovation that members of the Windows Insider program discovered. We are talking about the appearance of advertising in the "Explorer", which was seen by users of the latest test build of Windows 11.
At the moment the ad block is not muchcatches the eye - it is a narrow elongated strip at the top of the Explorer window. And so far, it only advertises Microsoft's own product - the Microsoft Editor grammar assistant:
But at the same time, nothing prevents the Redmond residents from posting another type of advertising there in the future. Considering that Windows is a paid system, such a step by the developer raises questions.
Note that the appearance of a new function in the test assembly of the operating system does not mean that it will definitely appear in the release version. But the chances of such an outcome are still there.
